AYERSVILLE -- Fairview claimed the Ayersville Great 8 softball tournament title on Saturday at Ayersville High School, defeating Defiance 14-0 in the championship game.
Kelsey Beck smacked three hits in the title game for the Apaches, while Sara Carder chipped in a pair of doubles and Christina Gebers added a home run. Fairview downed Napoleon 5-2 and the host Pilots 10-0 to advance to the championship game.
