RESQ (Rescue) stands for "remediating every student quickly." This intervention program runs two days per week, generally Tuesday & Thursday. The primary goals are to help struggling students, those who need extra help or have fallen behind, and those who need help to prepare for the achievement tests this April.
Students will meet in small groups of 3 or less with their core classroom teacher for remediation. This allows for more individual attention and help for those who need it most. We hope this will not only help improve achievement test scores, but also eliminate students being retained in a grade level at the end of the year.
