Meet State qualifier Grady Schaffer. Grady is a junior at Defiance High School and participates in track and cross country. Grady was Second Team WBL his sophomore year and First Team this year. This year, he placed 25th out of 200, running a 16:38 in regionals and qualified for state in Columbus this weekend. He has had a very successful season this year and has placed high up in all his meets. He would like to thank Coach Chris and Coach Kyle for always pushing him to do his best. Outside of school, Grady likes to fish and spends time working at the Elks. Good luck, Grady! Keep making Defiance proud.
