The Defiance Public Library System Writing Contest Returns!

DPLS’ Teen Fan Fiction Writing Contest for grades 6-12 will take place Nov. 1-30. This year’s theme is The Hunger Games. Stories must be 1,000-3,000 words or fewer, and need to be rated PG-13 or under. Stories can be emailed to prellstab@defiancelibrary.org or dropped off at any DPLS location.
The winner will be notified Dec. 8 by phone. Prizes include the Hunger Games book series, printed copies of your winning story, and your story shared in the YA Squeeze newsletter.
