For rising high school juniors/seniors and seniors who will be graduating (age 16 years or older):
Ashland University College of Nursing and Health Sciences invites
any rising junior/senior students (age 16 years or older) interested in NURSING to attend
their AU One-Day Nursing Summer Camp! This summer's dates to choose from are either Thursday, July 9, 2026 --OR-- Friday, July 10, 2026. Students (alone or with parent/guardian) are responsible for all transportation, which includes two locations for the day.
The morning begins at AU's College of
Nursing and Health Science, Mansfield campus (1020 S. Trimble Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44906). Campers spend most of their time in our high-fidelity simulation labs engaged with hands-on nursing activities led by AU instructors. Then campers will take boxed lunches provided by AU and drive to one of our local hospitals.
Upon arrival, campers will get to eat lunch with RNs and learn about what areas of specialties they work in! The remainder of the afternoon, campers tour various departments and participate in more activities with the hospital team. The camp will conclude sometime between 3:00 - 4:00 pm (depending on the clinical site each camper is assigned to and completed forms for). Online registration (via QR code on the flyer) is required that includes a $50 nonrefundable camp fee.
