Exam Dates: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 and Wednesday, May 27, 2026
Final Day: Thursday, May 28, 2026 - Class of 2026 Recognition and Final Farewell - 8:30 am
Grades - Exam Exemption
Seniors who have maintained a cumulative average of “A” through Friday, May 22, 2026, may become exempt from those exams, if they have received no disciplinary consequence more severe than a detention and/or has fewer than 5 total (excused and unexcused) absences/tardies over the semester.
Perfect Attendance Exam Exemption
Students may be exempt from all final/semester exams if they have perfect attendance for that semester. The only absences that are exempt from this policy are school-sponsored field trips or activities, bereavement and up to three college visits for juniors and seniors. Students are allowed up to the equivalent of two class periods out of school (with appropriate documentation) for excused appointments in the semester to still qualify for the perfect attendance exemption. Students must also have a 70% or higher average in a class for the semester to be exempt from final/semester exams.
Attendance - Required
Students must have written documentation to be excused from school for appointment or other. If a student is leaving for an appointment or other, they will not be permitted to leave until the exam period is complete. Phone calls are not permitted.
