For the 21st year, AES Engineers is offering a scholarship for 2026.

Deadline for entry: October 8, 2026

Purpose:

Help motivate students further their education.

Criteria:

1. A high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. This scholarship will be awarded based on character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted.

2. Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. You are not required to be taking engineering courses to be eligible.

3. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational facility.

Students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words in answer to the following question:

When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?

Amount of award: $500.00

Be sure to include:

a.) your full name

b.) the name of the school you are attending this year,

c.) your plans for next year.

The winner(s) will be announced within 2 weeks of the deadline.

Each winner will be personally notified by email.
