Jim Hench

Hench played football all four years at DHS, capped off by a senior year in which he earned first team all-state honors as an offensive guard and second team all-state honors at linebacker. In addition, Hench was second team all-American at ONU, Hench was awarded the physical education major of the year 1968. Hench went on to teach and coach wrestling and football at Tipp City Tippecanoe from 1969-75. He went on to work in his family's construction company in Tipp City and is now retired from the family's fourth generation of the business. Hench met his wife Dee Ann while at Ohio Northern and they have been married for 46 years. They have two children, Jeremy and Kristen, along with five grandchildren.
