Dear Parent/Guardian:
If your child requires bus transportation to or from school please complete the Emergency Medical and Contact Information Update via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. During the update process you will be able to select whether or not your child needs transportation as well as both pick up and drop off locations. Please visit our Central Registration page for details.

Student Transportation

All students in grades Pk-5 are eligible for bus transportation. Students in grades 6-12 must live 1 mile or more from the building they attend in order to be eligible for bus transportation.

The district covers 34 square miles with a fleet of 23 regular buses and 4 spares transporting approximately 2079 students daily.   The district also services two parochial schools.

In addition to regular daily bus routes, we also transport students to and from various athletic events during the week and weekends.

Our students safety is the priority of our 19 bus drivers.  Please take a moment to read the Student Bus Rules with your child(ren) to assure their safe arrival to and from school.

A Bit of Trivia

In 1948 bus services began with one bus for a 15 mile route that transported nearly 100 students.  Paul Bauer was the district's first bus driver.

The bus garage was constructed in 1963 on Riverside Avenue.
