Tony Scott

Scott was a two-sport stand out at Defiance, excelling at both football and basketball. In football, Scott helped the Bulldogs to their first post-season berth in school history in 1994, earning first team Western Buckeye League  honor at linebacker and All-Ohio special mention. That season, Scott led the team 119 tackles to finish his career with 186 tackles and three interceptions. Scott  was a member of the Defiance baseball team for two seasons. In 1995, he batted .400 and had perfect fielding percentage in right field earning first-team honors in the WBL. He went to play football at Hillsdale college, lettering for four years and starting for three, A team captain as a senior, Scott was three-time all conference selection in the Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference. In 1995, Scott was names Hillsdale's Most Valuable Freshman, two years later the Most Valuable Underclassman and in 1998 the team MVP. Scott was second team Daktronics Northeast Region Division II All-american in 1998 and in 1999 a Division II Senior Snow Bowl Participant. He was the Hillsdale College Kimball Medal Winner in the 1998-99 school year which goes to the Male Athlete of the year. Scott is a major salesman fro Team Sports in Toledo where he resides with wife Megan and children Lily (16), Eva (11), Will (10) and Maira (10), His Father Dave was a 1999 Hall of Fame inductee.
