Defiance City Schools offers online registration for NEW students entering the district. This includes students that have attended Defiance City Schools before, withdrew and are returning back into the district.
PARENTS MUST COMPLETE THE NEW STUDENT online registration to enroll or re-enroll their child. The online registration must be completed prior to scheduling an appointment with the Central Office to complete paperwork which finishes the New Student Enrollment process.

Steps to enroll:
1. Complete the NEW STUDENT ONLINE REGISTRATION form for your NEW student(s).
2. You must schedule an enrollment appointment. On the submission confirmation page of the enrollment form, use the link provided to schedule your enrollment appointment. If you did not schedule your appointment when completing the online registration you will need to call (419) 782-0070 to set up an appointment. Your enrollment appointment will be at the Defiance City Schools Administrative Offices located at 801 South Clinton Street Defiance, Ohio 43512.
Your child’s enrollment is not considered complete until after the enrollment appointment and all supporting documentation, listed below, has been submitted.
Please bring the following documents to your appointment:
Proof of residency, such as a utility bill, lease agreement, insurance bill or bank statement that lists your name, address and a date within the last 30 days.
Custody papers if applicable
IEP and ETR if applicable
NOTE: If you do not have access to a computer please contact the central office at 419-782-0070 to schedule an appointment at the Defiance City Schools Administrative Offices where a computer is available for you to enroll your child online.
